The Community Round Table Environment Committee is focused on making Sarnia-Lambton a green community.

Over the past year, the Community Round Table Environment Committee has been working in partnership with the City of Sarnia and other organizations on the following:

• An idle free strategy
• An anti idling poster contest for high school students
• Tips in the Recycling Calendar
• Encouraging participation in Earth Hour
• Trees of Distinction Bike Tour

This year the Committee will focus on the idle free strategy, as well as encouraging citizens and organizations to be environmentally friendly at public events.
